Offer colourful foods like beetroot halwa, gajar halwa, coriander parantha etc. Offer foods on colourful plates or in colourful bowls and offer milk, juices and other fluids in quirky or fancy mugs to attract the attention of the kid. Cut foods into different shapes using food cutters. Offer his favourites along with new foods that you want to introduce in his diet. Avoid distractions like TV, laptop, mobile phones, tablets during mealtimes. Make mealtimes a pleasant family experience so that the kid learns good and healthy eating habits from parents and siblings. Praise the kid even if he manages to finish a small part of his meal.
