Q.

My son is 3 years old and he is still not coming out of pull-ups. Encouraged him with stickers, his favourite treats and songs but it is temporary. Have changed his toilet seat of child level but still refuses to sit on toilet seat and even if he does, toilet does not come out and he does it only in pull-ups. Can you please suggest how can I get him to sit and do his toilet ?

A. potty training and toilet training should be initiated as soon as the child completes one and half years of age. avoid before that except if you feel that the child is giving cues when he or she wants to pass stool. also good demonstration has tod be given again and again to the child to reinforce the habit. make the child sit on potty seat daily so that the child gets accuxstomed and not fearful of the seat and situation kindly go through various articles on potty training on firstcry.
