Q.

My son is 3 years and 8 months old ..He keeps getting worm infestation very often..Symptoms are itchy bottom and sugar craving..His weight is only 11kg. In May I gave him 2 doses of albendazole in duration of 2 weeks..Now again from 2-3days he is complaining of itching.. Can albendazole be repeated?

A. Hello mom as it is quite often reoccuring , please take care of his diet, he needs to limit his sugar intake and any kind of packaged foods . also give him good amount of fluids, make sure he maintains good hygine. also de worming can be done every 6 months
