Q.

my son is 3 months old and healthy but i have some infection in breastfeeding very painful and there is some pus inside it. can i start formula milk and which milk to start and also suggest some treatment for breast problem

A. hi dear The actual risk for transmission of an infectious agent to an infant via a single ingestion of expressed breast milk (the most common occurrence) from another mother is exceedingly low. In this scenario, the CDC recommends treating this as an accidental exposure to a body fluid, which could be infectious.
