Q.

My baby is 3 months old and often I see some pus on her navel.. when I checked with doctor last month she told there is no infection and it's normal.. Today there is some red pus please let me know if it's normal

A. umbilical granuloma / umbilical polyp they are usually remnants of umbilicus post delivery. usually does not require any type of major treatment except neeosporine powder application or t-bact cream application and maintenance of hygiene and proper cleanliness. if it continuees to persist beyond 6 months of age requires surgical intervention like quarterization or ligation removal

A. its granuloma you can take the guidance with your doctor and he will explain your query in a proper way . So it's better to get the solution likewise . You can also seek guidance by online consultation on the platform with an expert for the same as a detailed discussion can be done .
