Q.
my son is 20 months old From last 1 month he is eating sand and dust .... 4 days back I consult his pediatrician he said mai be he is having minerals deficiency nd prescribed him calcium ,d3 and iron syrups...but from last 3 days my son has increased his intake of sand ....he is just searching everywhere for sand dust......can u plz suggest me some ways to make him to not to eat sand and dust

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. it's pica eating non edible things in the baby and a behaviour problem BC for more information and appropriate advice in this regard it is always advisable to consult your local doctor if there is need for investigations also and appropriate treatment
