my son is 2 yrs old he understands everything responds to the same but he is unable to express something in words he says very few words like mumma papa dada dadi nana nani bhai duck on khatta and some more words I am little worried why he is not speaking is it normal or we should be concerned.

A. The words of your child are less but it doesn’t seem like a delay in the speech reaches that the more you communicate with the time the better your child is going to learn so I believe communication is the key here so try to communicate more and more and get some Board books/cars to teach different things to the child with which also the child is going to learn better and if you want if you have any doubt you can check with a speech therapist
