my son is 2 yrs 10 months old. he is frequently getting cough and cold. any permanent remidies?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to bet treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor afccording to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sowmya MMom of 4 children3 years agoA. hello actually up to the age of 5 years to 6 years this is quite natural you have to take care once the weather or the season changes you have to give seasonal food items include termeric and Indian spices in the food items and use honey ajwain Tulsi kind of remedies
