Q.

My son is 2 yr 11 months old he is not yet starts to speak seeking his needs through actions but he able to spoke few words, alphabets, colours, shapes, numbers etc but now a days if we are forcing what you want na he is just saying water, for switching on the light means he is simply saying light by pointing the switch board if he understands the questions what he wants na he is simply saying the noun part if he doesn't understand na he repeats what we are saying other than that he is active mingle with other trying to copy my brother in dressing sense and other activities kindly share your thoughts on this i am really worried and stressed

A. You should encourage him to speak more and also take him for outdoor playing and let the child mingle with kids of his own age and sing rhymes stories for him and ask him to recognise fruits vegetables

A. Hello dear parent! Communicate more with your child. Keep telling stories and sing and play together. Encourage your child to express and respond to your questions. Few elders suggest to give a teaspoon of honey in the mornings for better health and speech. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice.
