A. Regarding Speech baby usually start mono syllable words at 6 to 7 months then bysyllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age . By 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . Later on child start saying simple meaningful sentences by 2 years of age . Speech is a two way communication so just interact with the child and as the child will try to exprefss gradually he will try to speak simple sentences . If the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child to rule out any developmental delay .
