Q.

My son is 2 years and 2 months. He has been 10 kgs since past 4 months and his weight doesn't seem to increase. Everyone I come across says that he looks very weak and tiny for a kid of his age. Is it possible that he might have worms in his stomach?

A. for good Growth of the child it is important that the child should get proper nutritional requirement which is very important for the growing child specially iron and vitamin D is required for better growth and cognition . also there is role of other micronutrients. one should ensure that the child should get a proper balancded diet which contains all types of nutrients essential for growth. any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise. after 2 years of age you can give some powder like kids Pro/ prohance junior mix in milk twice a day for one or two months.

A. Hi Yes you definitely a little underweight so maybe you may be feeling which is why that your child is weak or something increase the amount of proteins and carbs and also you are saying if the weight has not been increased performance that is not a healthy sign you have to get a check with your doctor ones
