Q.
my son is 2 year old, he has fever and bit cold from yesterday evening, his fever is now 102 F, it's not getting down... I have given him cinarest plus syrup 2.5ml dose twice and fever gets down for some time below 100 for intial time and again started increasing. I did home remedy like cotton strip with normal water on his head... please suggest ..

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistaminesvh antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
