Q.

my son is 2 and half years but he doesn't talk yet...he speaks a few words hardly ...we are just 3 people at home including the child...whenever we get time we try to make him speak but he doesn't...he understands everything and is super active and naughty child...please help me out...suggest some tips that we could do

A. if your child is able to understand and follow all the commands given and is able to you hear what you are saying with proper eye contact then do not worry much about the language skills of the child because speech will gradually come. try to avoid tv mobile laptop like screen time and spend more time with the child talking with the child as well as if more people are available to talk with the child and this will also improve the social and language milestones of the child.

A. T It could be just a simple delay in speech which is normal kids normally sometimes can pick up by the age of 3 to 3 1/2 years also still if you feel that your child is lacking or some other issues there in terms of speed you can always take an advice from an ENT doctor or a speech therapist
