Q.
My son is 2.10 yr old and he gets cough and cold very frequently even though we are at home most of the time.Pls suggest some measurements which will avoid him being sick again.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there parcdacetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Its Mostly due to allergy if a child is falling sick every now and then then your child is suffering with some kind of an alert you can get a check with the homoeopathic doctor start with treatment so that the energy completely subsides and your child will not fall sick that on
