POOJA GOSWAMIMom of 2 children4 years agoA. A 16 months old baby should consume variety of foods with 3 main meals, 2-3 times healthy snacks including variety of fluids like water, buttermilk, fresh juices, smoothies, coconut water, curd, etc. and 550 to 650 ml milk everyday.
You can give Banana shake as snacks and not as breakfast and use only one Banana. Feed oatmeal with dry fruits, boiled egg, omelette with bread, pancakes, waffles, etc. for breakfast. Same way, give fulfilling meals in lunch and dinner too. Include foods like vegetable khichdi, mixed vegetable soup, chicken soup, besan and beetroot cheela, idli-dosa and sambhar, chapati with paneer gravy, stuffed parantha, veg cutlet, veg sandwich, chicken or fish curry with rice, etc.
