Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. yes can give
simple cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vacfcination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination
if still in confusion yfou can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

Because a mild illness does not affect how well the body responds to a vaccine, your child can still be vaccinated if he or she has: A low grade fever. A cold, runny nose, or cough.
