Q.

my son is 14months..got fever of 102..doctor told to give mefanorm 4ml...and after 6hours give paracetamol..when we gave mefanorm within 20min temp came down to 97..after 6hours again temp rose to 102.3..i gave paracetamol as told by doctor.. but temp is still in 101.. can I give mefanorm..??

A. dont worry it will take 3 to 4 days to settle down the fever give medicine as per the your doctor said and do cold sponging as mucch u can .... get well soon baby 😊

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tanvp water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
