can we give 4ml paracetamol syrup to 5month old baby

A. give as per power of paracetamol syp your are having you have to give paracetamol for fever as well as pain according to the weight of the child as well as according to the strength of paracetamol medicine you are having. there are different strength of paracetamol available in the market that is it may be in the drops formulation which might be having power of 100 mg or or 125 mg or 150 mg in each 1ml. in syrup formulation paracetamol has got different powers like 120/ 25mg and 240/ 250 mg in each 5ml. so the doctor will calculate the dosage according to the power and weight of the child. paracetamol can be given max 4 times per day

A. hi no I mean, you can't give it by own it must be given undersupervision of pediatrician or give it as per instructions given on packet as it's dosage depends on your child health, age and weight too
