my son is 14 months old he is getting rashes between his legs and private area it become red and burns and it comes after every 4 5 days so i applied coconut oil and gave him atrax drops is it sufficient or what should i do

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Avoid using diapers daily, use can be limited to night time.
Cotton clothes and towels can be used instead
Apply candid cream or calamine lotion before putting diaper or cloth nappy.
Avoid rubbing excessively while cleaning the affected area.
If the rash is persistent, in spite of this ointment and if the rash spreads to different areas, visit a paediatrician .

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Coconut oil alone is not going to help. You can use any cream containing zinc oxide to treat diaper rashes and do not use diapers till the rashes are healed. Apply ezinappi cream.
