A. Hai good morning !! Baby weight is fine ,it depends on birth weight too,in general triples or near to triple of birth weight, compare with birth weight. If baby is active, acheiving milestones then dont worry. Give 3 meals and 2 snacks in between milk during nap and on demand. Give finger foods boiled veggies ,ripen fruits by deseeding as baby has got tooth it helps in easing gum pain/itching .

A. No that's normal don't worry. When formula is supplemented along with breastmilk/food or just on its own usually people tend to say it contributes to the weight growth. I had seen this in my cousin's child, who was born preterm and was suggested to supplement with formula as the milk supply was too low. He was given Dexolac stage 1 initially then stage 2 later on along with food till one year of age before moving to cow milk. His weight gain was good, which is slightly difficult for preterm babies.
