My son is 1 year and 5 months old, but he is not speaking well. Rarely he calls amma appa, but when I ask him to repeat after me or call me mom he isnt talking but saying oohh. Even when he wants something he is just pointing it but not talking. How to encourage him to talk and repeat words after us?? He is very active, wants to play, run with toys, understands when we teach him objects, points correct objects, but for talking he is not doing properly
