A. Your child is having constipation for which kindly give plenty of water to drink and fibre diet made from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits. Changes in diet has to be made Specially give papaya, banana, oats, fennel seeds water pear, prune, pineapple, resins, plum as it will help in decreasing constipation. Even after that the problem continues kindly meet your doctor for constipation medicine. it is important for you to know that the problem of constipation will improve with increasing age of the child. You may increase or decrease the dosage of constipation medicine if needed according to the consistency of the stool. it would be advisable to continue constipation medicines for at least few days
