Q.

my son he is 18 months having fevr in the morning n i gave feponil 1.5 ml the fevr got subside so i did nt gve him any othr dose as it got subside nw again he got fevr frm eving n gve him paracitaole of 7 ml as his weight is 11 kgs i called the dctr and asked him through phn so. is the corrct ml whch i m gving him

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do gh cold sponging of the body to reduce fever

A. 3 months to 6 months: 2.5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times per day. 6 months to 24 months: 5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day. 2 years to 4 years: 7.5ml of infant paracetamol suspension, given up to four times a day.
