Q.
My son has cough and cold for nearly 20 days.. He doesn't have a fever but he is not getting well despite giving cough n cold syrups.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children2 years agoA. I can see that your son is above 10 years of age. Try some home remedies. Make a kashayam with well cleaned tulsi leaves, black betel leave, karpooravalli leaves, cumin seeds and pepper corn. You can also make a powder called thiri kadugam in tamil. Its made with dry ginger, pepper and long pepper. This will be very effective for cough. Also check if tge cold and coughis due to any allergy
