Q.

#askdoctors my son has a dry and cracked foot , and currently applying XERINA cream suggested by dermatologist… it’s better now when compared to before … actually this started when he started to walk from that time till now applied many creams suggested by dermatologist but nothing has improved. I just want to know the main reason behind this , is this due to food , or foot wear or vitamin deficiency or any other reasons ????

A. Hello dear parent! This needs a personal medical evaluation to understand the symptoms. Maintain a good personal hygiene for your baby. If the problem is severe better consult your child’s doctor for further evaluation and advice. Follow your doctor’s instructions diligently. Good luck and take care.
