Q.
my son had common cold and cough for last 7 days..his coughing n cold has reduced a lot but in between he has temperature. He had slight temperature on Tuesday, then Friday and today..Today is was ranging between 98.5 to 99.5..On doc advise we started antibiotic from Friday and today we gave last dose of antibiotic..on doc advise we gave him crocin and fever subsided..is this normal/common to have temperature 8 such intervals..wat cud be the reason for this

Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steamvgbj inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
