My son anterior fontanelle not closed What to do

This may require proper evaluation, so to clear your doubts regarding this and to receive proper information you should consult your pediatrician/concerned doctor who will guide you in a proper way and will also suggest proper investigation if so required after clinical examination and taking detailed hisj nntory. That will be a better approach for a proper treatment regarding this.

A. Typically, fontanelles close by the time your baby is 18 months old. The posterior fontanelle usually closes first — within 2 months of birth. The anterior fontanelle closes between 7 and 18 months. If you feel your baby's fontanelles are closing too soon or haven't closed in 18 months, consult your pediatrician.
