A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold ( most commonly seen in children less than 6 years of age). usually they are not associated with fever and the cough and cold can continue for many weeks. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. also they may be food allergy ,cold allergy and allergy to dust, smoke, pollens also. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr.x there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization. when allexrgies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine

A. hello you can put nasal drops and use instant rib from Babyhug which is effective and also give warm glyids to soothe baby throat and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same
