Q.

My son Aarnik is 14 months old, and has only one tooth erupted in the front of the lower jaw. Is that a cause of concern, and should I consult a pediatric dentist?

A. Hi it's okay.. kids sometimes show a little delay in getting their milk teeth.. complete set of 20 milk teeth erupts by the age of 3-3.5 years.. don't be tensed and wait

A. The average age is anywhere from 6 months to 12 months, though some babies will get teeth earlier and some will get them later. Timing isn't that important; however, if your baby still has no teeth by the age of 18 months, it may be time to see a pediatric dentist for an evaluation.
