Q.

My son 9 month old. he always rub his ear. sometimes he rub his hair also. but there is no ear infection. since he was 6 month old.he started rubbing the ears.

A. It is better to consult with your doctor if your baby has been doing it for such a long time. Please avoid using earbuds as they push the earwax further into the ear. Take a cloth dipped in warm water and clear only the external part of the ear without letting any water get into the ear.

A. Madam, my baby rub his ear since four month. I cleaning his ear everyday with earbuds. he rubbing outside of ear.sometime it make scar on ear.

A. It is usually due to middle ear infection or external ear infection but if this is not the case then his or her ears might have been blocked due to ear wax. It is also one of the signs of teething. If his or her gums are red and swollen along with ear tugging or pulling, then it is definitely due to teething.
