It may be due to allergy, I infection, or may be a signs of teething.
If your baby is casually scratching or rubbing at his ear/rubbing eyes,
but seems happy and playful, with only intermittent bouts of fussiness,
then the problem may simply be teething -- a reaction to the tingling of the tooth nerves.
But if scratching most of the times and redness with ear/ear discharge then need consultation with nearest pediatrician

Nihita mittalMom of 3 children4 years agoA. good evening this problem can also happen because of a cough and cold but if the child seems to be having ear infection than you would have to give proper antibiotics to your baby in that case you must visit your doctor for check up
