Q.

my son 4 months old is vomiting since yesterday. he vomits almost everything what he takes. we give breast milk as well as isomil. we gave him aptamil yesterday as per one of doctor recommendation. all the things are happening after that. also he had loose motion yesterday night. he pees very less and it is yellowish. please suggest what to do

A. after vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily cdigestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid xgiving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis

A. hi if you have doubt that it only happened after giving Aptamil formula ,I advise to stop giving it for now. if possible please continue with breastfeeding. offer small feeds. please avoid overfeeding. burp your baby in between and after each feeding.
