My son 3.5 months old got vaccinated in 20th April Even now also there is swelling hard kinda around the injected area Showed it to a nearby clinic and dr told to put glycerin and gave amoxicillin antibiotics for 5 days Can anyone suggest on this? Even still it is there

A. Usually antibiotics are not suggested but if your doctor suggesting you you can give it a shot for five days maybe it is going to help in melting down the lump that has been formulated so you can go ahead with it in fact check with the doctor if hot compress will also help right now
