Q.

my son 16 months old had 4-5 episode vomiting on Monday night and then 4-5 episode loose motions on Tuesday & Wednesday and then 2 episode on Thursday...should we give medicine or not

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting ffand its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydratigon is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
