Q.
my second twin bAby suffering from cough and cold near about from one month i am guving him 5 days antibiotic course... bt the cough is still there...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussivegs medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to regduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Kirti ChandwalkerMom of 3 children3 years agoA. as you are already giving antibiotic the cough will come in control also you should see that baby is not lying in weight cloth and is not exposed directly to cold air from AC or cooler because it may also cause cough to your baby also maintain hygiene
