Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. it is very normal for small children to have slightly warm/hot head palms and soles but if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry about the warm head palm and soles.
you have to consider idt as fever only if the temperature in the armpit is 100°f / 37.7°c or more.
the warm head palms and soles are due to hyperdynamic circulation in these areas (that is necessary for development) which is normal.
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Kids usually have a higher body temperature than adults which is by sometimes you can mistake it with fever also any time if you feel the body is warm always should take the temperature to make sure about it if you see it is fever then you can give paracetamol otherwise it’s a normal body temperature
