my one year bit me while breastfeeding to heal those wounds does breast shield helps in??

A. Hello good evening !! Nipple shields helps in latch issues like flat nipples while breast feeding . Using nipple shield helps in protecting from nipple biting and reduces pain to some extent but for healing use medicine or ointment.
