Q.
My one year baby is having green coloured loose stools since 5 days!! How to treat this at home???

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. kindly give ORS(oral rehydration solution) for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly mzeet your doctor. Also you cannot give outside milk and cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days. Avoid gi,ving sweet sugary food as well as maida and biscuits, chocolate, icecream, packet foods cerelac. Other food which can be given are Poha daliya upma mamra idli.

If you giving any formula feeding to the child and the colour of the motion would be quite justified and if you are not yet your child is passing green colour store then there could be two reasons either your child is having its state or your child is suffering with some kind of a stomach infection so you please get a check with the doctor because then only you can be sure about the reason behind itWrite Your Answer Here
