Q.

my nipples are flat so he not latching. he is drinking formula milk since birth now he is 48days boy. 25ml breast milk only a day. can I use breast pump to improve milk supply

A. As i understand, your supply is not the primary problem. Latching is an issue according to you. If you actually have flat nipple, then yes using breast pump is a good idea. You can express and give your milk to your child so that even if child doesn't directly breastfeeds , he/she atleast gets your milk which is important and by pumping regularly you can keep up your milk supply.

A. Breast pump does not increase milk supply a misconception if you want to feed your child on the breast then you can use an nipple shield for direct feed take a good lactation supplement which will help with boosting your lactation then you will have good amount of feed to express
