Q.

My niece is 7 month old she is very active her weight 6.200kg she doesnt have any symptoms of thyroid but the doctor said it can be because she is underweight but it cant be because she is achieving her milestones early can it be thyroid ?

A. She was born in a govt hospital so they must have tested her .The baby doesnt have any symptoms of thyroid she is very active and she is hitting her milestone early

A. is the thyroid test not done at the night of birth...you can get it done. baby at 7 months is good wt .. give wt gain foods as potato sweet potato ragi dalia eggs dry fruits as cashew almonds in paste or powdered form ghee butter cheese in moderate amount..
