My New born baby is 14 days old and on antibiotics for two more days, which is given through IV daily as her crp test found one infection. She is home and nurse comes to give her that. My 4 year old daughter has cough and doctor advised to keep both of us separate. But its difficult as she also needs me, she cries inconsolably. Its very difficult to keep either me or baby separate from us even though we are trying whatever possible ways. And this situation is making us tensed every time. My question is, is it still possible to catch infection even of on antibiotics. Please help understand.
