Q.

#asktheexpert My nephew sometimes suddenly becomes unconscious—his hands and legs go limp, foam comes from his mouth, and his eyes roll upwards. He is currently under treatment in Gwalior, and we were told the medicine may continue for 4–5 years. So far, he has only been given one syrup—Lavera Solution—with a 1ml dose. But yesterday, the dose was increased to 2ml. I just wanted to understand why the dose was increased. Is it normal? And what precautions should we take going forward?"

A. Maam the medicines that those are given and the amount of medicine is actually based on the age and weight of your child so the treatment is already running it’s fine but since I know wali is a small town and if you’re okay with it I would recommend you to bring your child into a bigger city like Indore Bhopal and get necessary checkup done so you’ll come to know there’s a problem that needs to have a further treatment
