Q.

my nephew is having very small pimples on forehead as well as his mother is having coffee daily and she is breastfeeding him is it a matter of concern ?

A. Hello there, I had the same experience when my baby was 3 months old,the following tips were given by my Pediatrician -Ensure that water for bathing the child is not very hot.Very hot water leads to pimples -Avoid using Sambrani powder/benzoin resin to dry babies -Apart from this harmonal changes in a breast feeding mother also matter

A. pimples because of maternal hormones nothing to do with coffee consumption by the mother Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate advice in this regard if there is need for investigations also

A. Hello dear parent, no Co sumption of coffee is not the reason for pimples on baby's face. Baby is having pimples because of sensitive skin. You can apply coconut oil on the pimples. And try not scratch at all and baby should not scratch. These pimples would be alright in less time.
