Q.

my nephew is 6 months old and he having fever from last 5 days, however from yesterday evening their is no fever. we are giving him antibiotic and paracetamol ( if he has fever). His father is covid positive, however his mother is negative. After getting the positive report with immediate effect his father went for an isolation. The RTPCR reports says the level of covid of his father is 29. so, here's my question, is their a chance that his son is also covid positive?

A. Yes There is a 50-50 chance because one person out of the parents is positive and the other one is negative so there could be a chance but if the child is not showing not showing any kind of symptoms or signs as of now need not worry about it but if at any point of time you feel that your child is having an issue then consult your paediatrician ones
