A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there . Hairs will growy back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age. Cradle cap is alsgo a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

A. hi it is normal no issue because it is just result of hormonal changes which happens after few days of birth. don't worry your child regain his or her hair by the age of 6 or 12 months. apply coconut oil daily on your child hair use mild shampoo like Babyhug shampoo for washing your child hair.
