Q.

My LO had fever by last Friday then given paracetamol for that 5 hrs fever reduced again it was recurring then consulted pediatrician he prescribed paracetamol and antibiotic ( CEFDIRIN) for 5 days given for 2 days then by third day baby development skin rash then it spreaded to whole body is it a alarming concern .. by today night I didn’t give antibiotic to my baby .. is this a big concern . Should I again visit pediatrician?

A. o will advice to give antibiotics as advice, such body rashes are common in viral fever, apply calamine lotion and it will cure itself in few days, but if the rashes are severe, having itching, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.

A. Yes You definitely should visit the paediatrician as of now if you don’t have anything available at home you can go ahead with using coconut oil otherwise calamine lotion is the best thing to apply as of now also the medicine has reacted which is why your child has got so many Russian so don’t give that medicine again child is never going to accept
