Q.
my kids head circumference is lower than the WHO standard. she has always had a small head. but her milestones are being achieved she's very active. understands well... talks too.. shd the head circumference bother me ?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. there is range for head circumference at a particular age. you have to meet the doctor to see if it is within normal limits or not. if you feel that it is more or ledss it is advisable to consult the doctor because only head circumferencde is not a criteria for any pathology.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi mam ,it is not necessary for child to achieve Ideal measurements. if a child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight, take food and sleep well ,can react to sound , can respond to name ,make eye contact while talking,start babbling , sitting ,roll over etc then no need to worry about it much
