Q.

My kid once or twice in a week gets up in mid night around 2 to 3. AM and cries like anything for atleast 15-20 min and sleeps after that. we checked her stomach which wasn't tight n we don't think there is any stomach pain. what could be the reason for crying like that?

A. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. g other regjkkasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage, ear pain, diaper rash and sometimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
