my kid is 21 months old, he doesn't speak words although he babbles sometimes and shouts also, speaks mama maa papa nana that too occasionally but doesn't speak as the other kids of his age group. is it concerning

Maam child has its own pace of speech but usually it is seen that if a child doesn’t pick up by the age of 2 1/2 years well then it is considered as a deal but since as of now if you feel it is a problem your child is doing good you can just take an assistance with your Pediatrician First and if they referred you to a speech therapist then you can start with that
