That kind of pushback from a four-and-a-half-year-old shows a lot of sharp logic and strong self-expression, even if it feels frustrating in the moment. At this age, children process fairness through simple reciprocity: "If you keep secrets from me, I keep secrets from you." They don't yet understand abstract boundaries like "adult business" versus "child business"—they just feel left out.

Kids are very attentive in this age you know and specially in the area that we are living in as they are called Jiji and Jen Alpha so they want to get into everything so right now what you do is that don’t talk in front of your child if you want to talk then get your child involved into some other activity and you should tell your child okay I’m going to share with you but you have to only speak when you asked for an opinion you have to listen very carefully so this is only going to help but most of the times I would recommend you to avoid talking in front of the child
